HOUSTON LIVE is a new radio talent show that promotes new upcoming original artists in our community and beyond. "YOU KNOW YOU ARE ALIVE WHEN YOU TUNED INTO “HOUSTON LIVE”  at…….. ?)!

Performers need to take total responsibility for their performance. They need to introduce themselves with name, performance genre, composer and one other interesting fact about their performance.  During open mike auditions Judges will offer feedback directly to the performers immediately after their performance. Audience will show their approval with their applause. Artists will have to repeat the same act for the Houston live show. They can improve upon their audition performance but they cannot change their selection. There will be no judges and no competition during the HOUSTON  LIVE show which will air on KPFT.  Performers will simply introduce themselves and their piece to be heard on air! Dr. Loreta Kovacic will ask a few related questions and act as an MC.

APT director, Loreta Kovacic is a known Houston artist and theatre director with a doctorate degree in Music Performance from Rice. She is a performer connected to the art community, community in general and to Houston as her hometown.
